Zakiya Grant, BSN RN, MPH, currently serves as a Covid Epidemiologist for the Fulton County Board of Health since March 2021, and has been a Nurse Extern at Gwinnett Medical Center since May 2020, where responsibilities include direct COVID-19 patient care and medication administration. Previous experience includes working as a Patient Care Technician at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, a Disease Investigator at the Fulton County Health Department, and a project coordinator at Emory School of Medicine, focusing on health education and public health initiatives. Zakiya holds a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from Chamberlain University, a Master's degree in Public Health from Morehouse School of Medicine, and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Georgia State University.
