Paul Nelson is an experienced engineering professional with a comprehensive background in digital transformation and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Currently serving as Director of Engineering for Digital Transformation at Northrop Grumman since June 2018, Paul has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Chief Technical Strategist and Fellow in the PLM Discipline. Prior experiences include positions at Orbital ATK and Siemens Digital Industries Software, where expertise in Teamcenter Engineering was developed. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering from the University of Utah. Paul's early career included research and internship positions, showcasing a diverse skill set in engineering, project management, and technical consulting.
