Shari Lichterman is an accomplished consultant at NorthGuide, bringing extensive expertise in partnerships, program development, and public affairs since July 2024. Prior to this, Shari served on the Board of Alectra, Canada's largest municipally-owned electricity utility, from February to June 2024. Shari's notable tenure as City Manager and Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Mississauga from July 2015 to June 2024 involved overseeing a $1B budget and liaising with the Mayor and City Council on policy direction. Additional leadership roles included Commissioner of Corporate Services and CFO, Commissioner of Community Services, and Director of Recreation, managing various city divisions and budgets. Shari's previous experience includes serving as CEO of Enersource Corporation and Tourism Mississauga, and holding executive positions at Canlan Ice Sports and Firland Management, as well as beginning a career at SkateNation Inc. Shari holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University and a Masters Certificate in Municipal Leadership from York University’s Schulich School of Business, with recent studies at the Rotman School of Management.
