Anastasia R. is an undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at The Catholic University of America from 2022 to 2026. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Advanced Computing Laboratory at The School of Engineering, Anastasia R. focuses on protein folding and its impact on biomedical devices, as well as developing a protein folding software prototype named "PEPpermint.” Additionally, Anastasia R. is an intern in the Office of Institutional Advancement at Pontifical North American College, where responsibilities include maintaining donor relations and assisting with communications. Since July 2021, Anastasia R. has worked as a Pro Shop Attendant at NOVA Parks, managing tee times and shop operations, alongside previous experience as a RAISE Makerspace Intern at The School of Engineering, where assistance was provided to community members in project development using various fabrication tools.
