Sonu Yadav has a diverse work experience in the field of molecular science and biological research. They began their career as an intern at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2013. They then worked as a researcher at the Wildlife Institute of India from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they joined the National Centre for Biological Sciences as a junior researcher. After that, they worked as a postdoctoral researcher at UNSW from 2019 to 2021. In 2022, they became a visiting fellow at UNSW until 2023. Currently, Sonu Yadav holds the position of principal molecular scientist at the Northern Territory Government. Additionally, they serve as an adjunct research associate at Charles Darwin University.
Sonu Yadav obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree from Macquarie University between the years 2016 and 2019.
