Peter Wilson is an experienced mining engineer and operations manager with a career spanning over two decades in the mining industry. Currently serving as the Alternate Underground Manager at Northern Star Resources Limited since May 2024, Peter has previously held various significant positions, including Alternate Underground Manager and Operations Superintendent at IGO Ltd, where responsibilities included managing underground mine plans and safety systems. Peter's expertise extends to senior roles at Metals X Limited, Rio Tinto, and Barrick Gold Corporation, focusing on project management and mine operations. Notable achievements include overseeing construction of a 2,200m decline at the ERA Ranger Uranium Mine and managing multiple open pit projects. Peter holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from the Western Australian School of Mines and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Western Australia.
