Miguel Bachiller is an experienced mining professional with a strong background in underground mining management and engineering. Currently serving as Underground Manager at Northern Star Resources Limited, Miguel has held various roles including Alternate Underground Manager and Senior Mining Engineer across multiple sites such as the Porphyry and Deep South Gold Mines. Prior to this, Miguel was the Managing Owner of Caravel Beach House and Villa Port Grimaud, both award-winning accommodations. Additional experience includes senior positions at Saracen Mineral Holdings and Thiess, focusing on mine planning, scheduling, and engineering across diverse mining operations. Academically, Miguel holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, as well as a First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency from the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety.
