Kirstie McKay is a seasoned professional in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices with extensive experience in the mining sector. Currently serving as Principal ESG at Northern Star Resources Limited since July 2014, Kirstie has held various roles focusing on sustainability reporting, environmental management system implementation, and regulatory liaison. Previous positions include Environmental Advisor at Newmont Mining Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed environmental reporting and the management of indigenous programs. Additionally, Kirstie contributed to Young Mining Professionals Perth as a committee member to advance the mining industry's profile. Kirstie holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Environmental Mining from Curtin University.
