Jacob Sammut possesses extensive experience in various engineering roles within the mining sector, currently serving as an Alternate Underground Manager and Senior Production Engineer at Northern Star Resources Limited since October 2017. Prior positions at the same company include Senior Planning Engineer, Planning Engineer, and Production Engineer, where responsibilities ranged from strategic planning and financial evaluations to managing drill and blast activities. Before joining Northern Star, Jacob gained practical experience at Barminco, KCGM, Leighton Contractors, and John Holland, providing a solid foundation in underground mining operations through various roles, including graduate and undergraduate positions. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the Western Australian School of Mines.
