Matthew Byrne MSc is a seasoned professional in the field of quantity surveying, currently serving as a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Northern Powergrid since June 2024. Prior to this role, Matthew held similar positions at Freedom from September 2021 to June 2024 and at Balfour Beatty plc from November 2015 to November 2021, where experience included progressing from Trainee Quantity Surveyor to Quantity Surveyor and Assistant Quantity Surveyor. Matthew's academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Surveying (Quantity Surveying) from Northumbria University, obtained between 2016 and 2018, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Leeds College of Music and a Bachelor of Technology in Musicology from Middlesbrough College.
