Kanwaljit Cheema is an experienced pilot currently serving as the Acting B757 Fleet Manager at New Pacific Airlines since May 2022. Previously, Cheema held positions as a pilot at Atlas Air for a brief period in early 2022 and served as a Senior Captain and Instructor for the A330 at Nepal Airlines Corporation from January 2020 to January 2021. Cheema's extensive career includes over 24 years at Jet Airways as a Senior Commander, where responsibilities included serving as a B737/A330 Check Pilot, Instructor, and Examiner. Additionally, Cheema served as a Squadron Leader in the Indian Air Force from June 1982 to April 1994, specializing as a Fighter Pilot and in Management. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from the National Defence Academy, along with schooling at Sacred Heart Convent School.
