Raquel Ramirez is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as the owner of Internal Balance Therapy, LLC, since April 2024, where services include individual, couple's, and family therapy from an Internal Family Systems (IFS) perspective, as well as immigration evaluations. Ramirez has held positions as a Behavioral Health Therapist at Northern Nevada HOPES since May 2021 and worked as a Behavioral Therapist at Grounded Roots Therapy from April 2022 to April 2024. Previous experience includes roles as a temporary faculty member at the University of Nevada, Reno, a therapist at Willow Springs Center, a CSW-intern at HEALING MINDS, LLC, an intake counselor at Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, a case manager at Tu Casa Latina, and an MSW intern at the Reno Police Department. Ramirez holds a Master's degree in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Reno, as well as an Associate of Arts degree from Truckee Meadows Community College.
