Jason J. Nicholas is an Assistant Provost and Director of Institutional Effectiveness and University Strategic Planning at Northern Michigan University, where they focus on supporting the university through evaluation processes that generate actionable information. Originally from the Marquette, Michigan area, Jason has held various roles in education and sustainability, including Energy Manager at CESA 10 and Associate Institutional Planner at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Jason earned a Master's degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. A mid-west enthusiast, Jason enjoys nature-related activities and values family time with their three boys and supportive wife, Tiffany.
