Alyssa Crane is a skilled research professional with extensive experience in laboratory settings. Currently serving as a Research Laboratory Technician at Northern Biomedical Research since July 2020, Alyssa previously held the position of Lab Technician at Arconic from March 2019 to July 2020. Prior to that, Alyssa worked as a Research Assistant at Purdue University from August 2014 to August 2017, where involvement in Dr. Philip Low's lab focused on molecular biology techniques to study sickle cell disease. Additionally, Alyssa taught organic chemistry labs and a molecular biotechnology course as a Teaching Assistant at Purdue University. Early research experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Grand Valley State University under Dr. Matthew Hart, contributing to the synthesis and purification of small molecules. Alyssa holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University.
