Northern Ballet is a powerhouse for inventive dance and winner of Best Company in the inaugural Taglioni European Ballet Awards in 2014, winner of The South Bank Sky Arts Dance Award 2016. Based in Leeds, Northern Ballet is one of the UK's best-loved companies and an important international cultural ambassador. We are renowned for creating inventive narrative ballets and for touring these throughout the UK and overseas reaching audiences who might otherwise not have access to world-class dance.

Northern Ballet is based on Quarry Hill in central Leeds in a purpose-built six storey centre for dance which we share with Phoenix Dance Theatre. Our home won the 2011 National Lottery Award for Best Arts Project voted for by the public. It is home to the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre showing an exciting programme of live dance, music, and theatre. 

Northern Ballet offers exceptional facilities and flexible options for conferences, meetings, formal dinners, parties and performances for up to 270 people. We have 7 large dance studios, meeting rooms, catering services, free WiFi throughout and breathtaking views of the city. We can offer team building packages and our experienced creative and events team will ensure any event is a success.
