Vishal Garg has diverse work experience spanning several industries. Vishal currently holds the position of Executive Vice President - Finance at Northern Arc Capital, a role they started in 2023. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2023, they were the Director of Finance at Navi, where they played a crucial role in Navi Group's IPO and led financial control and taxation for all group companies.

Before joining Navi, Vishal had a significant role as the Chief Financial Officer at Navi General Insurance Limited from 2017 to 2023. Vishal was responsible for spearheading the company's entry into the general insurance business and focusing on improving its business performance.

From 2009 to 2017, Vishal worked at Max Bupa Health Insurance Company Limited in various positions, including Senior Vice President - Finance and Head of Business Planning, Business Performance, and Investments. Vishal contributed to the company's success by developing differentiated business strategies and played a crucial role in establishing Max Bupa as one of India's top private health insurers.

Earlier in their career, Vishal gained experience at Max India Ltd as Senior Manager - Corporate Finance, at SRF Limited as Head - Finance and Accounts (Packaging Films Business), at SOLARIS Chemtech Limited as Dy. Manager - Corporate Finance & Accounts, and at Hero Honda Motors Limited as an Industrial Trainee.

Vishal began their career at S. S. Kothari & Co. as a Trainee. Throughout their career, they have showcased their expertise in finance, accounting, taxation, business planning, and corporate governance.

Vishal Garg completed their education in a chronological order. Vishal obtained their C.A. degree in Financial Management, Accounting, Costing, Taxation, Corporate Laws, and Auditing from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1996 to 1999. From 1996 to 2000, they pursued a degree in Company Secretary with a focus on Corporate Laws, Labour Laws, and Taxation from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Furthermore, they obtained a B. Com. degree in Financial Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Taxation, and Cost & Management Accounting from Dayalbagh Educational Institute between 1994 and 1996. Vishal also pursued a second degree in Company Secretary from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India between 1997 and 2000. Additionally, Vishal Garg holds several certifications in different areas including the role of a CFO from the Indian School of Business in 2015, Certified Assessor of Malcolm Baldrige Excellence Framework from the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2013, and an advanced course on IFRS from KPMG in 2011.
