Gord King currently serves as the Academic Strategy and Operations Manager at NAIT, a position held since January 2025. Prior to this role, Gord managed research and development at CAREERS while also taking on the roles of Program Development Specialist and Field Director, focusing on facilitating internships for students and promoting engagement in trades and technologies. From September 2013 to April 2019, Gord worked at Skills Canada Alberta as the Provincial Competition Coordinator, overseeing logistics for various educational programs and the annual Provincial Skills Canada Competition. Gord's earlier experience includes serving as Project Coordinator at Skills Canada Alberta and as Marketing Manager for Built To Learn, where responsibilities included driving sales of daycare furniture and managing supplier relationships. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Management from The University of Lethbridge and a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from NAIT.
