Kayleigh O’Melia is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Northeastern University, with an expected graduation in May 2025. Kayleigh has gained diverse experience in various roles, including College of Engineering Tutor and Intramural Sports Supervisor at Northeastern University, as well as Member Service Associate at Athol Area YMCA and Arcade Attendant at Family Entertainment Group, LLC. Additionally, Kayleigh serves as a researcher at Mabrouk Research Group, focusing on a survey-based study about copyright law knowledge among chemistry graduate students and faculty in Massachusetts, and has presented findings at multiple professional meetings. Previous roles also include Advocate at The Borgen Project, Research and Development Engineer at Found Energy, Teacher at Shine In Math Academy, Innovation Associate at Ginkgo Bioworks, and Camp Counselor at Hidden Pond Day Camp.
