George O'Doherty

Professor Of Chemistry at Northeastern University

George O'Doherty is a Professor of Chemistry at Northeastern University, a position held since September 2010. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Professor at West Virginia University from 2002 to 2010 and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota from 1996 to 2002. George O'Doherty completed postdoctoral studies in Organic Chemistry at both Imperial College London (1995-1996) and Stanford University (1993-1995). The academic journey began with a PhD in Chemistry from The Ohio State University (1987-1992) following a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1984-1987).
