George Maroun

Adjunct Professor at Northeastern University

George Maroun is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as Treasurer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston since February 1999. In this role, George manages a group responsible for raising debt through capital markets, trading interest rate derivatives, and overseeing a portfolio of investments, liquidity, and leverage of the Bank's balance sheet. George's scope of responsibilities includes portfolio and balance sheet management, risk management, development of pricing strategies, and new product initiatives, alongside contributions to the LIBOR transition team. Additionally, George has been an Adjunct Professor at Northeastern University since September 2014, where instruction focuses on graduate-level courses in finance and economics. George holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics/Finance from Bentley University.
