Rodwan Basha has over 20 years of experience in maintenance engineering and reliability roles. Rodwan started their career at Grant Jardine International, where they focused on maintenance optimization studies and developing reliability and availability models for UKCS and international assets. Rodwan then moved to MODUS Asset Intelligence, where they served as an operations manager, conducting reliability and availability improvements and benchmarking studies for offshore and onshore assets. Rodwan also worked on the Brent and Northern maintenance strategy review for Shell Expro.
In 2002, Basha joined Development Engineering International as a maintenance engineering team leader, overseeing SAP implementation projects for QP and implementing optimized condition-based maintenance strategies. Rodwan then worked at SKF Asset Management Services, first as a maintenance engineering manager for the Total MIEC SAP project in Jakarta, Indonesia, and later as a regional manager, leading SAP implementations for Qatar Petroleum.
At ADGAS, Basha served as a senior reliability engineer, responsible for assuring asset integrity and implementing process safety strategies. Rodwan managed the RCA program and led the implementation of HSE critical equipment and systems management.
Most recently, Basha worked at Maersk Oil as the maintenance excellence team lead, ensuring maintenance deliverables from projects were communicated and developing processes for maintenance readiness. Rodwan also supported the promotion of maintenance excellence within the organization.
Currently, Basha is working at North Oil Company Qatar as the lead maintenance methods engineer.
Rodwan Basha's education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled at Fife College of Technology. Rodwan completed the National Certificate in Engineering, specializing in the field of Engineering, in 1990. Following this, from 1990 to 1992, Rodwan pursued higher education at the same institution and obtained a Higher National Diploma in Engineering. Finally, from 1992 to 1996, Rodwan attended the University of Aberdeen, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, with a focus on Mechanical Engineering.
