Rachman Phasadaon

Ops. Development Geologist For NWD (new Well Delivery) Team at North Oil Company Qatar

Rachman Phasadaon has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on geological roles. Rachman started their career in 2008 as a Thesis Student at Total E&P, where they analyzed sequence stratigraphy patterns and built reservoir models. Rachman then joined Total as an Operational Geologist and Wellsite Geologist, working on the Tunu and Mandu fields. Rachman's responsibilities included proposing and delivering development wells, building geological models, and generating pore pressure predictions for safe drilling operations.

In 2018, Rachman transitioned to PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam as a Senior Reservoir Geologist for the Handil Asset and later became a Senior Reservoir Geologist for the Handil Asset at Total. In these roles, they served as a technical advisor, submitted a research paper, and contributed to the ownership transition period and re-development project.

From 2019 to 2021, Rachman worked as a Senior Development Geologist at Pertamina Hulu Kalimantan Timur (PHKT), where they led the re-development stage of the Sapi and Sepinggan Fields after the transition from Chevron to Pertamina. Rachman successfully delivered new development plans and received the PHKT Director Award for their significant contributions during the project.

Most recently, Rachman joined North Oil Company Qatar in 2022 as an Ops. Development Geologist for the NWD (New Well Delivery) Team. In this role, they support field development planning, exploration, and delivery of new wells.

Overall, Rachman Phasadaon has demonstrated expertise in well delivery, field development planning, team leadership, and reservoir geology throughout their career in various companies.

Rachman Phasadaon obtained their Bachelor's degree in Geology Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Petroleum Geology at the same institution, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012.
