Ollie Taylor has over 20 years of experience in data and information management within the oil and gas industry. Ollie has held various roles in different companies, including North Oil Company Qatar, Petroceltic International PLC, GENEL ENERGY PLC, BP, BG Group, Oil & Gas UK, Nexen Inc., ExxonMobil, Hess Corporation, and Robertson.

In their most recent role as Head Data and Information at North Oil Company Qatar, Ollie was responsible for delivering subsurface and reservoir surveillance data solutions. Ollie also had budgetary responsibilities for subsurface services for data and tools.

Prior to that, they worked as an Upstream Data Architect at Petroceltic International PLC and GENEL ENERGY PLC, where they focused on implementing data architecture to support upstream operations and identifying cost and time-saving opportunities.

At BP, Ollie served as a Senior Data Manager, where they conducted a review of data systems and identified opportunities to reduce risk in subsurface workflows. Ollie was also responsible for the standardization of the operated subsurface working environment.

During their time at BG Group, Ollie worked as a Subsurface Tool Specialist on a project to upgrade the company's worldwide subsurface working environment.

Additionally, Ollie has experience working with Oil & Gas UK, Nexen Inc., ExxonMobil, Hess Corporation, and Robertson in various data and project management roles. Ollie has been involved in delivering key parts of the Oil and Gas UK Seismic DataStore, coordinating and leading upstream support services at ExxonMobil's CERNA region, and managing G&G data and projects at Hess Corporation.

Overall, Ollie Taylor has extensive experience in data and information management, with a focus on delivering solutions, implementing data architecture, reducing risk, and improving workflows in the oil and gas industry.

Ollie Taylor obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Geography with a specialization in Geocomputing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Remote Sensing from Kingston University. This educational journey occurred from 1993 to 1996.
