He began his career as an accountant in the public sector before joining Abbey National and had various roles as they became Abbey and were acquired by Santander. He is a qualified accountant and internal auditor and has a master’s degree in finance and accounting from Leeds Metropolitan University.

Although he has lived in Doncaster for more than 25 years, Lee’s job has usually required him to spend a lot of time working away. Now that he has a job closer to home, he wants to use his skills and experience to give something back to the local community that he and his family have had the pleasure to live in. As a governor, he believes that he can help support DN Colleges Group in continuing to develop and deliver outstanding education and help the young people of the region realize their full potential.
