Tim Clifford has a diverse work experience. Tim started their career as a Teacher at North Bennet Street PreSchool in 1985, before moving on to North End Union in 1988, where they continued as a Teacher until 1999. In 2001, Tim became the Director of Safety & Compliance at North End Waterfront Health. Later that same year, they joined Partners HealthCare at Home as the Director of Child Care Services, a role which they held until September 2015.

Tim Clifford attended Barrington College from 1983 to 1985. Tim then transferred to Gordon College and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business/Computer Science in 1987.
