Amy Tang is a seasoned health professional specializing in immigrant health and hepatitis B management. Currently serving as the Director of Immigrant Health at North East Medical Services since November 2019, Amy focuses on addressing diseases that disproportionately affect immigrant populations, including hepatitis B and tuberculosis. Previously, as the Hepatitis B Program Director at Charles B. Wang Community Health Center from July 2016 to November 2019, Amy oversaw multiple grant programs, conducted significant research, established clinical protocols, and advocated for culturally sensitive care. Amy's medical training as an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at NYU Langone Medical Center from July 2013 to June 2016 included comprehensive exposure to various medical disciplines. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts in Neurobiology and Music from the University of California, Berkeley.
