Katie Lytton currently serves as a High School Counselor and Social Studies Teacher at West Lincoln High School since August 2013, teaching subjects such as AP Psychology and American History, as well as serving as a Teacher Cadet Teacher. Concurrently, Katie has been involved with North Carolina Virtual Public School since September 2008 as a Social Studies Teacher, focusing on online course development and instruction, and holds the position of Course Lead for Civics and Economics. Previously, Katie taught at Piedmont Community Charter School from August 2004 to July 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling from The University of West Alabama, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Gardner-Webb University.
