Morgan Miller, M.S., currently serves as a Research Specialist at North Carolina State University within the Translational Genomics and Bioengineering Laboratory since June 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Lead Research Scientist at Harpe Bio from July 2023 to July 2024, where responsibilities encompassed the Pre-Emergent Herbicide Program focused on sustainable herbicide development from mint plant extracts. Morgan also contributed as an MSc Candidate at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh from September 2021 to November 2022 and held a Laboratory Technician position at North Carolina State University from August 2018 to December 2020, specializing in plant molecular systematics. Additionally, Morgan's background includes working as a Biological Science Aid with the USDA ARS from July 2017 to August 2018 and early research technician roles. Morgan holds a Master of Science in Biodiversity and Taxonomy of Plants from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Plant Breeding and Biotechnology from North Carolina State University.
