Basil Rodts is a data analyst with experience at the North Carolina Joint Underwriting Association and the North Carolina Insurance Underwriting Association since June 2020. Previously, Basil served as a solar development analyst at Heelstone Renewable Energy, LLC, where significant contributions included analyzing ten years of avoided-cost data and helping to secure over $300 million in clean energy investment. Additional experience includes directing residential communities as a resident advisor at Carolina Housing, participating in a study abroad program focused on renewable energy and urban planning, and interning at the State of North Carolina Industrial Commission. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Analytics from the Institute for Advanced Analytics and dual bachelor's degrees in Statistics and Analytics and Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
