Kathleen Smith is a seasoned network analyst with extensive experience in various engineering and technical roles across multiple companies. Currently serving at the North Carolina Department of Revenue since July 2021, Kathleen has previously worked as a dedicated service manager and network engineer for Experis @ Cisco, providing Tier 2/Tier 3 support for Catalyst switch platforms and leading technical assistance projects. Kathleen’s career includes significant positions at Verizon Enterprise Solutions, managing large-scale enterprise networks and incident management, as well as roles at MCI WorldCom, Penncorp Financial, and International Paper Industries, where a strong foundation in network performance and engineering project management was established. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
