Susan Bauer is an experienced professional in somatic movement education and holistic health, serving as the Founder and Director of Embodiment in Education since June 2005, where innovative programs for professional development are offered. As an author, Susan published "THE EMBODIED TEEN: A Somatic Curriculum for Teaching Body-Mind Awareness, Kinesthetic Intelligence, and Social and Emotional Skills" through North Atlantic Books in July 2018. Additional experience includes a role as a Registered Somatic Movement Educator/Therapist in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2008, alongside faculty positions at Dominican University and the University of San Francisco. Susan's educational background includes an MFA in Dance from UCLA, an MA in Dance/Movement Studies from Wesleyan University, and a BA in Dance and French from Middlebury College.
