Raj Sharma is a seasoned project manager at North American Construction Group, where responsibilities include overseeing tailings pond projects at the Suncor site and integrating new technologies for MFT drying and skimming of bitumen. Previously, Raj held the position of Blasting Foreman at Walter Energy, supervising a 20-person drill and blast crew and ensuring service delivery. At Teck Coal, Raj served as Senior Operations Foreman, managing a 30-person crew and equipment to meet production and safety targets, and as Drill and Blast Foreman, where Raj played a key role in introducing electronic blasting. Raj holds a degree in Petroleum Technology with a focus on Geology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
