Caroline Samponaro currently serves as the Vice President and Head of Micromobility & Transit Policy at Lyft, a position held since April 2018, where responsibilities have included overseeing transit and micromobility policy initiatives. Prior experience includes being the Head of Public Policy & Government Affairs for ofo and serving in several roles at Transportation Alternatives, culminating as Deputy Director, where Caroline managed various advocacy efforts, campaigns, and staff. Caroline founded Families for Safe Streets and successfully led campaigns for Vision Zero in New York City, significantly impacting traffic safety policies. Earlier roles included positions at The Anti-Violence Project, Amnesty International USA, and Kaye Scholer LLP. Caroline holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology and Psychology from Columbia University, and the educational background includes attendance at The Taft School and Greenwich Academy.
