Morten Linderud currently serves as a Driftsutvikler at Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK) since August 2023. With extensive experience in software development and security, Morten has contributed to the Arch Linux distribution since December 2016, focusing on packaging and patching around 200 software projects. Prior roles include Software Developer at Glasklar Teknik AB, Senior Security Consultant at Kovert, and Software Developer at Mullvad VPN. Morten also worked as a Security Engineer at Defendable AS and an Associate at BDO Cybersecurity, along with a position as a Developer & Security Advisor at Apility, where Morten developed a REST API in NodeJS. Morten’s early career included a summer internship at the Direktoratet for forvaltning og IKT (Difi) focusing on big-data classification. Morten holds a Master’s degree in Information Science and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the University of Bergen.
