Ismayla Carneiro is a skilled geotechnical geologist with extensive experience in the mining and environmental sectors. Currently employed at Norsk Hydro since July 2021, Ismayla represents the company in various national and international inspections, manages engineering contracts for tailing storage facilities, and leads projects focused on mine closure and rehabilitation using bauxite tailings. Prior to this role, Ismayla served as a hydrogeologist at Marca Ambiental and the Geological Service of Brazil, contributing to data acquisition, groundwater sampling, and the development of technical reports. Ismayla's academic background includes ongoing studies for a Master's degree in Sustainable Mining and Management at TU Bergakademie Freiberg and several postgraduate qualifications from Universidade Federal do Pará.
