Ingeborg M Liahjell has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Ingeborg M began their career as a Deputy Judge at Toten Sorenskriverembete in 1995 and later worked as a Trainee Solicitor at Watson Farley & Williams. In 1998, they joined Norsk Hydro ASA, where they held various positions in their Corporate Legal Department, eventually becoming the Chief Audit Executive in the Group Internal Audit & Investigations department. Ingeborg M also served as the Company Secretary and Legal Counsel before taking on the role of VP Director Legal/Advokat in the Group Legal Department. In addition to their time at Norsk Hydro, Ingeborg was a Member of the Board of Directors at LINK Mobility AS.
Ingeborg M Liahjell obtained their LLB degree in Law from the University of Oslo from 1988 to 1994. Ingeborg M then pursued further education in Maritime Law & Constitutional Law at the University of Southampton from 1993 to 1994. In 1994, they completed a Master's degree in Finance and Shipping Law from King's College London. In 1998, they attended the College of Law, London, where they received the QLTT Solicitor England & Wales certification through the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test. More recently, they have enrolled in the BI Norwegian Business School, completing a course in Project Management I in 2013 and a course in Board Competence I in 2014.
