Most recently, Stacy worked as an Agile Transformation Specialist and Sr. Scrum Master at Osaic. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Consultant in Project and Program Management at Norima Consulting Inc.
Stacy's notable accomplishment includes their role as a Project Release Manager for the Property and Casualty Stream under Manitoba Public Insurance's Project NOVA. In this position, they were responsible for the successful hybrid-agile delivery of the transition to Duck Creek on Demand for SRE, using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO), SAFe agile methodology, and traditional project management reporting mechanisms. Stacy coordinated the work of over 100 team members, managed contracts and SOWs for multi-million-dollar engagements, and led various agile ceremonies.
Before joining Manitoba Public Insurance, Stacy worked as a Manager and a/Director in the Project Management Office (PMO) at Celero Solutions. In this role, they directed all activities within the PMO, managed a team of 21 employees and contractors, and defined compliance standards and procedures. Stacy also played a key role in facilitating PMO planning sessions and delivering process improvement projects.
Prior to that, Stacy worked as a Senior Project Manager and Scrum Master at RAPID RTC, where they successfully transitioned the company from waterfall project management to SAFe Agile methodology. Stacy also implemented a storage modernization project and served as a Project Manager at Investors Group and Cabela's, where they delivered projects on time and within budget.
Stacy's earlier experience includes roles as a Project Manager at IC Group, a Program Manager at Traffilog North America Inc., and a Project Leader at Magellan Aerospace (Bristol Aerospace).
Throughout their career, Stacy has acquired certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), ITIL, and SAFe Agilist, demonstrating their expertise and commitment to professional development.
Stacy Gandza, PMP, ACP, ITIL, SAFe Agilist, has a diverse education history. Stacy attended Red River College Polytechnic from 2003 to 2011, where they completed multiple degree programs. From 2003 to 2011, they pursued a degree in Human Resource Development. During the same period, they also obtained a degree in Knowledge Management, specializing in Information Resources Management. Additionally, Stacy completed a degree in Business and Administration from 2003 to 2005. In 2003 and 2004, they pursued a degree in Management Development, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
In addition to their education, Stacy has obtained several certifications. Stacy became a Project Management Professional (PMP) in December 2014 through the Project Management Institute. In August 2019, they achieved the ITIL Foundation Level certification from PeopleCert. Stacy also holds the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute, acquired in 2021. Furthermore, they are a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist, certified by Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2018. In April 2022, they obtained the Agile Hybrid Project Pro certification from the Project Management Institute, and they acquired the Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2023.
