Steinar Bergseth has extensive experience in biotechnology and pharmaceutical research, currently serving as a Special Advisor at The Research Council of Norway since May 2000, where responsibilities include program management and the development of innovation strategies. From January 2000 to June 2007, Steinar worked as a Senior Scientist at Nycomed, contributing to the establishment of advanced laboratories and enhancing the company’s pharmaceutical pipeline through research and development. Earlier, from September 1997 to April 2000, Steinar held the position of Laboratory Manager at Aquateam - Norsk vannteknologisk senter AS, providing consulting services in environmental and water analysis while building laboratory capabilities. Steinar holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Oslo, obtained between 1976 and 1990, and has a background in economics from high school education completed in 1974.
