Pindie Nyandoro is an experienced financial executive currently serving as the Regional Director for Southern Africa at Norfund since October 2022. Prior to this role, Pindie worked as a consultant and independent director from August 2021 to September 2022. Pindie's extensive career includes a significant tenure at Standard Bank Group from January 2002 to July 2021, where Pindie held the position of Regional Chief Executive overseeing a portfolio of six countries in the South Central region of Africa. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Sales for Corporate and Investment Banking at Standard Chartered Bank from November 1999 to March 2002, and as Senior Manager of Business Development at Standard Chartered Merchant Bank from March 1991 to October 1999, where Pindie focused on identifying business leads and advising restructuring options for distressed companies.
