Wesley McPherson has extensive experience in emergency services and electrical systems, currently serving as a Firefighter/EMT with the Norfolk Airport Authority since August 2021. Prior to this role, McPherson worked as a Firefighter/EMT at the Chesapeake Fire Department from April 2016 to August 2021 and as a High Voltage Electrician for NAVFAC MIDLANT from December 2008 to April 2016. McPherson's education includes a Master of Science in Fire Executive Leadership, expected in February 2024, and a Bachelor of Science in Fire Administration, completed in May 2023, both from Columbia Southern University. Additionally, McPherson holds an Associate's degree in Electromechanical Controls Technology from Tidewater Community College and a high school diploma from Currituck County High School.
