Mark Perryman has a comprehensive work history spanning several decades. Mark started their career as an Architectural Apprentice at Edward S. d'Avi Architects in 1978 and then served as a Base Architect and Planner in the United States Air Force from 1982 to 1989. After leaving the military, Mark worked as a Planner at Dames & Moore from 1989 to 1990. Mark then joined Landrum & Brown, where they held various positions such as Senior Consultant from 1990 to 1995 and Director from 1996 to 2000. Mark later became Vice President from 2001 to 2004, President & COO from 2004 to 2017, and Chief Executive Officer from 2017 to 2022 at Landrum & Brown. Currently, they are the President & CEO of Norfolk Airport Authority since 2022.
Mark Perryman, Assoc. AIA, obtained their Associate of Science (AS) degree in Construction & Surveying from the Community College of the Air Force in 1984. Mark then pursued a Bachelor's of Science in Architecture/Urban Design at Arizona State University from 1987 to 1989. In May 2021, they obtained the certification of Associate AIA from The American Institute of Architects (AIA).
