Jens Kistrup is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Asset Manager in Development at Noreco since December 2016, focusing on field development and new business technical support. Jens has also worked as an Independent Consultant, providing expertise in new and emerging business development and technical evaluation for exploration and production acquisitions. Prior to this, Jens held various positions at Maersk Oil from August 2001 to October 2016, including New Business Development Manager, Portfolio Analyst, Team Lead, and Senior Petroleum Geologist, contributing to the technical assessment of global development opportunities and leading geological teams. Jens began a career in geology, earning a Master’s Degree from the University of Copenhagen in 2000.
