Michael Gillen is an experienced professional in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as a Senior Application Engineer for Nordson Canada since April 2004. In this role, responsibilities include managing the Canadian Field Service Team, alongside functions as an Application Engineer and Lab Manager, focusing on automation design, troubleshooting, and mechanical production system modifications. Prior to Nordson Canada, Michael worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Thermodyne Engineering Ltd., where expertise included Finite Element Analysis of pressure vessels and seismic analysis for ASME Code compliance. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University and completed high school at Erindale Secondary School.
