Sami Karvonen has a diverse work experience in the field of RFIC engineering. Sami began their career as a PhD student at the University of Oulu in 2001 and continued until 2006. After completing their studies, they joined Qualcomm Inc. as a Senior Engineer from 2006 to 2008. Sami then joined ST-Ericsson as a Staff Engineer from 2008 to 2011. Sami then worked at Renesas Mobile Corporation as a Principal Engineer RFIC from 2011 to 2013, and at Broadcom as a Principal Engineer from 2013 to 2014. Sami briefly worked as a Contractor (Senior RF Design Engineer) at M4S NV in 2014, before joining Nordic Semiconductor ASA as a Principal R&D Engineer RFIC in 2015. Overall, Sami Karvonen has gained extensive experience and expertise in the RFIC engineering field throughout their career.

Sami Karvonen earned a Dr. Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oulu, where they studied from 2001 to 2006.
