Mikaela Sonck is a communications advisor at the Nordic Welfare Centre since October 2024, focusing on the Integration Norden programme aimed at enhancing cooperation on refugee and immigrant integration across Nordic countries. Previously, Mikaela held the position of Head of Communications at UR, Sveriges Utbildningsradio AB, where responsibilities included brand strategy and customer experience. At Yle, Mikaela served as Head of Media for Svenska Yle and was also Head of Children, overseeing content production and strategic communication. Early career roles included positions at SVT and Viaplay Group, as well as various roles at Yle, including TV host, producer, and reporter. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Literature and Journalism from the University of Helsinki, a Master's degree in Literature from Ã…bo Akademi University, and a Certificate in Photography from the University of the Arts London.
