Maeva D. is an experienced professional in the field of economic sanctions, currently serving as FVP - Head of Sanctions at Nordea since February 2024 and an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University School of Law, teaching Economic Sanctions. Maeva is also a founding member of the Women in Sanctions Network, promoting knowledge sharing and support among women in the industry. Previous roles include Director of PM Risk Governance and Controls at BMO US, VP and Head of Sanctions Compliance Advisory at Bank of the West, and various leadership positions in sanctions training at BNP Paribas. Maeva holds a specialized master's degree in Assets and Portfolio Management from SKEMA Business School and participated in an exchange program in International Business at Tulane University.
