Jakob Zierau is an experienced portfolio manager at Nordea Asset Management since October 2012, specializing in Emerging Asia and Global Emerging Markets, including CEEMEA and Global Frontier Markets. Previously, Zierau held the position of research associate focused on CEEMEA equity research within the same firm, and worked as an investment analyst at Nordea International Private Banking, where duties included client investment pitch book creation and asset allocation calculations. Additional experience includes serving as an assistant advisor in Nordea's Investment Strategy & Advice, where equity trading and market report distribution were key responsibilities. Zierau began their career as an assistant financial writer at aktiefokus and completed educational qualifications including an MSc in Finance & Strategic Management and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
