Michael Gilbert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and technology. As the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Making Light Work since 2006, Michael has been instrumental in driving organizational success. Michael has also served as Principal at The Gilbert Center and Editor for Nonprofit Online News since 1996. Other notable roles include Founder and CEO of Social Ecology, Inc., and various leadership positions including Founder and Chairman at N-TEN and FSPC & CSPC. Michael's career began as Executive Director at GoodWorks and included advisory roles and consultancy work. Michael holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and both a Bachelor of Arts in Technology & Social Change and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Washington.
