Sungju Yang is a 차장 at Nonghyup Bank, specializing in the 'Digital Curating' project, which involves consulting and proof of concept for bank employees interested in implementing new technologies like AI and blockchain, a role held since January 2020. Previously, Sungju worked on bank deposit product development and management from January 2016 to December 2018, notably developing the NH x KakaoPay bankbook, which received the Maeil Business Newspaper's Financial Product Grand Prize in 2018. Sungju holds a master's degree in Engineering from Korea University (2018-2020) and a bachelor's degree in Horticultural Science from Seoul National University (2004-2011), and is currently pursuing a doctoral program in Information Security at Korea University.
