Valerie J. McAndrews has had a long and successful career in the production industry. Valerie J. began their career in 2002 as a Freelance Graphics and VFX Producer for various companies, including Guava. In 2003, they joined Gotham Inc. as an Assistant Broadcast Producer, where their primary focus was on TV projects for Maybelline New York. In 2004, they moved to Concrete Pictures as a Broadcast Producer, producing Film/HD Productions (from Pre to Post) as well as Broadcast Graphics projects. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as a Freelance Broadcast Producer for various companies, including FEARnet, producing video content for online and VOD use for Marketing, Ad Sales, Programming and Editorial departments. In 2012, they joined Scarlett as a Producer, producing VFX, Graphics and CG for various spots for several ad agencies. From 2013 to 2014, they held the role of Senior Producer for Red Car and Wildchild. Finally, in 2017, they joined Nomad Editing Company, Inc. as the Director of Operations / Senior Producer.

Valerie J. McAndrews graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa in 1995. Valerie J. attended the University of Iowa from 1990 to 1995.
